Testing testing testing

What a right pain this is, having to test out new stuff. All cos mate (curse his hide) wants us to try doing something clever blog-wise. Well, that’ll be a first. So basically this is a test post using the ScribeFire plugin for Firefox, and can safely be disregarded. Like all my posts here are I suspect. Oh well.

    What does Scribefire do?

Makes blogging a right pain in the backside!

Er, no… joking aside, its a plugin for Firefox (and other browsers as well I believe) that facilitates posting to different blogs without having to visit each one individually.

Works reasonably well apart from tagging. I think we’ve just about decided we’re not going to use it after all though. Typical that. After all the effort I go to installing it, setting it up and so on. Huh. Mates… who needs ’em?

then may I offer up my suggestion again to try out Live Writer? You can enable any amount of blogs in Writer, post to them all with the same post if you wish, add tags, split posts etc etc. A new version will be out soon in beta but the current version is available from here http://explore.live.com/windows-live-writer Try it out, you have nothing to loose and I promise you that once you begin using Live Writer, everything else just pales into significance.

Heh heh. I just knew you were going to say that!

But y’see, I have this weird prejudice against Microsucks so try to avoid them as much as possible… despite working mainly on Windows machines (come to think of it, that’s prob’ly why I’m prejudiced).

No skin off my nose if your not prepared to even try it out. Its your loss.
